2025 EVT of the Year Call for Nominations

Firehouse is seeking nominations for the 2025 Firehouse Emergency Vehicle Technician of the Year Award. The EVT of the Year Award recognizes exceptional dedication and skills in support of emergency vehicles and related services to ensure these critical vehicles are ready to respond and serve their communities.

To nominate someone for the EVT of the Year Award, they need to meet the following criteria:

• A member in good standing of a state or local EVT association as of Jan. 1, 2024
• They have successfully passed, or are working toward completion of a Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission program
• They foster professionalism through continuing education in emergency vehicle maintenance
• The nominee must have an unwavering commitment to keep apparatus and emergency vehicles in service through maintenance and care

Deadline for submissions: July 15, 2025
